- Wilton Nonpareils Christmas Sprinkles

Sugar Cookie Recipes
- 2 cups Sweet Cream Salted Butter (softened)
- 2 cups Sugar
- 2 Eggs
- 2 tbsp. Vanilla
- 4 tsp. Baking Powder
- 6 cups Flour
Best Buttercream Frosting
- 4 cups Powdered Sugar (or 1 pound)
- 1 cup Butter (Softened Salted Sweet Cream)
- 2-3 teaspoons Vanilla
- 1-2 tablespoons Milk
INSTRUCTIONS
Make a Sugar Cookie :
- Add butter and sugar to your mixer. Cream the butter and sugar until it is completely mixed. Do not over-mix.
- Add vanilla and eggs and mix until completely incorporated.
- Add Baking Powder and mix.
- Mix in the flour two cups at a time.
- Do not chill the dough, the cookies will bake better if the dough is at room temperature.
- Roll a handful of the dough out on a prepared surface until it's about 3/8" thick and cut out shapes with a cookie cutter.
- We used a small square cookie cutter to cut out our Christmas Sugar Cookie Bites but you could also cut the dough into strips and then cut the strips into square.
- Bake in a 350 degree oven for 4-5 minutes. Check on the cookies at the 4 minute mark, because they are so small you don't want to over bake them. The edges will be slightly golden when they are ready to come out of the oven.
Make a Best Buttercream Frosting
- Add softened butter and vanilla to the mixing bowl and mix until completely combined.
- Add Powdered Sugar and beat on low until it is incorporated. Then move mixer up to medium-high speed. Scrape sides and bottom of bowl often. When completely mixed the frosting may appear dry.
- Add milk a little bit at a time until frosting is the proper consistency.
- Frost the Sugar Cookie Bites and add Christmas sprinkles.
